1) LIFEGUARD(S)


The City of Summerside is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work as Lifeguard within the Community Services Department. Duties will include all aspects of supervising and maintaining the Aquatic Centre at Credit Union Place. These positions are part time and full time and also may include evening and weekend shifts.

 

Current and up to date National Lifeguard Certificate, a valid Standard First Aid and CPR certificate are a definite asset. Lifeguards must be in good physical condition, be of good character, have good communications skills, and be courteous to the public.

2) VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS

The Summerside Fire Department will be receiving applications for volunteer firefighters until Wednesday, August 28th at 1:00pm. Application forms can be picked up and delivered back to the Fire Station No.1 (Foundry Street) Monday to Friday from 8am-4pm and sent to the attention of Chief Ron Enman.




3)  “I Love to Skate” Program Lead Instructor & Helpers

 

 

The City of Summerside, in partnership with go!PEI and the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program, will be offering a 6 week “I Love to Skate” Program this Fall 2019.  We are looking for individuals to run and assist with the program. Instructors are required to have experience with skating and with working with children. A clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check will be required. The programming will run on Sundays from 9:00am-9:40am beginning on November 3rd, 2019 at Credit Union Place with children aged 4-12 years old.
